Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist places special cups on the skin for a few minutes to create suction. The suction from the cups is believed to help improve blood flow, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain.

Cupping therapy is based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, which holds that the suction created by the cups can help balance the flow of qi (pronounced "chee") in the body. Practitioners believe that this balance can lead to improved health and well-being.

Cupping therapy is often used to treat conditions such as muscle pain, back pain, migraines, and other types of pain. Some people also use cupping to help with digestive problems, fatigue, and anxiety.
